SEGMENTNA ANALIZA TELESNOG SASTAVA RONILACA NA DAH: ANALIZA BIOIMPEDANCOM (BIA)

ABSTRAKT

 

Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je da ispitamo da li postoji statistički značajna razlika u telesnoj kompoziciji između ronilaca na dah i kontrolne grupe i da li postoji statistički značajna korelacija između parametara telesnog sastava ronilaca na dah i njihovog ranga na takmičenju u statičkoj (STA) i dinamičkoj disciplini sa perajima (DYN). Ispitivali smo uzorak od 20 ronilaca na dah, muškog pola koji su se takmičili na Drugom otvorenom prvenstvu Srbije u ronjenju na dah. Kontrolnu grupu je činilo 20 studenata Beogradskog univerziteta, koji se nikada nisu bavili nikakvom sportskom aktivnošću. Šesnaest parametara telesne kompozicije izmereno je BIA monitorom telesne kompozicije (Inner Scan Body Composition Monitor - TANITA, model:BC-545). Studentov t-test za nevezane uzorke i neparametarski test za korelacije (Spirmanov koeficijent) su korišćeni u analizi podataka. Telesna masa i index telesne mase (BMI) su bili statistički značajno niži kod ronilaca na dah nego kod kontrolne grupe (76±6,62kg vs. 85,41±9,21kg, p=0.002) i (23,46±1,59 vs. 26,45±3,44, p=0,001), dok je procenat telesne vode bio viši (61,38±0,27 vs. 55,08±2,96, p=0.001). Ukupan procenat telesnih masti kao i sve segmentne vrednosti telesnih masti su bile statistički značajno niže kod ronilaca na dah. Telesna kompozicija se može uspešno procenjivati BIA metodom kako u kliničkim tako i u terenskim uslovima. Ova analiza je važna zato što procenat telesnih masti ima veliki uticaj na sportski rezultat i njen višak može biti glavni limitirajući faktor za sportski uspeh.

ABSTRACT

 

The aim of this study was to determine if there is a significant difference in body composition between elite breath-hold divers and control group and if there is a significant correlation between body composition parameters of breath-hold divers and their rank on competition in Static Apnea and Dynamic with Fins disciplines.

We studied a sample of 20 elite male breath-hold divers who were competing on 2nd Serbian Open Free diving Championship and, 20 male students of Belgrade University, who have never been involved in any kind of sport activities, were control group. Sixteen variables of body composition were measured using Inner Scan Body Composition Monitor (TANITA, model:BC-545). Student's t-test for independent samples and nonparametric correlation test (Spearman's coefficient) were used in the data analysis. Weight and BMI were significantly lower in breath-hold divers comparing to control group (76±6,62kg vs. 85,41±9,21kg, p=0.002) and (23,46±1,59 vs. 26,45±3,44, p=0,001), respectively; while body water % was higher (61,38±0,27 vs. 55,08±2,96, p=0.001). Total body fat % and all variables of segmental body fat % were also lower in breath-hold divers group, p=0.001 vs. control group. According to our results, BMI, total body fat and segmental body fat are significantly lower in breath-hold divers comparing to the age-matched control group. Body composition could be successfully estimated with Bioelectrical impedance analysis in field and clinical setting. This analysis is important because percentage of body fat has a great influence on sport performance and its excess is often viewed as a major limiting factor in athletic performance.
